Transformational Services is the portal for my multi-faceted work as a consultant, life coach, author, creative artist and facilitator.

Since The Obsidian Mirror: An Adult Healing from Sexual Abuse was first published in 1988, I have been honored to witness and to experience the profound power of people to heal and to create life-affirming alternatives. Awareness can stop abuse and the violence which flows from it -- in our individual lives, in our institutions and globally. This is a powerful time to acknowledge violence in all of its manifestations -- and to work towards transforming violence into a playful and satisfying peace.

My work continues to reflect my life-long passionate interest and engagement in creativity, body-mind integration and authentic empowerment. Through lecturing, working with clients, leading workshops and conducting innovative professional trainings, I am continuously reminded of the power of creativity to inspire movement, meaning and connection.

This fall I am pleased to offer Speaking from Silence, week- long healing retreats for sexual abuse survivors which combine the awesome setting of Hawaii with creative exploration and body-mind integration for healing and empowerment.

For those of you living in my neighborhood in Hawaii, I will be teaching weekly writing classes and facilitating a writer’s critique group this fall.  As always, I continue to work with gemstones and to honor the power and nurture of the Earth.
